Rekky Technology’s Four Layer Fabric Reinforced Silicone Hose represents a unique construction that combines the high transparency of silicone tubing with the pressure capacity of multi-ply reinforcement. Unlike braided hoses where fibers are interlaced, our fabric-reinforced hose uses multiple layers of woven fabric plies laminated between silicone layers, creating a smooth outer surface with excellent pressure resistance and kink prevention.
The four-layer construction (inner tube + fabric ply 1 + fabric ply 2 + outer cover) provides uniform reinforcement around the entire circumference, making this hose particularly resistant to external crushing and abrasion. The smooth outer surface is easier to clean than braided hoses and is preferred in applications where the hose is handled frequently or dragged across equipment surfaces.
Despite the heavy reinforcement, this hose maintains surprisingly high optical clarity, allowing visual monitoring of fluid flow and bubble detection — a significant advantage over opaque rubber or PTFE hoses. It is widely used in pharmaceutical visual inspection stations, food filling machines, and biotech sampling systems where both pressure and visibility are required.
